February 2008

You’ll have noticed that we have not been gigging in early 2008. That’s because we have been very busy arranging and rehearsing new songs ready to start recording for the new CD again.

It’s going to be called ‘The Ballad of Madeleine Carroll and other stories’ and it will include 12 tracks with ten new songs from John a set of tunes and a cover of Iris Dement’s ‘Easy’s getting harder every day.’

We are recording in April and May but we have managed to fit in a few gigs between the recording dates and amongst those are the Newhampton and the Red Lion in Kings Heath; two of our favourite clubs in the same month.

We are also in Birmingham on Wednesday 14th May at Rea River Roots and then up to Loughborough to the Packhorse on Friday June 20th to see our Leicester based friends from the mailing list.

We are finalising details on a few festivals and will add those dates to the list soon but we look forward to seeing some of you at the dates above.
