Chris Drinan who was with John in Maurice and the Minors and Desperate Men joined the band before Christmas.
Sine then the band has been off the road recording a new CD for launch on 3rd June at the Newhampton Acoustic Club (see gig guide) the band will also be playing live on the Folk Programme on BBC Radio Shropshire on Sunday 4th June.
Walls of Hope will include ten new Richards songs, some written for Emma to sing, and some great original tunes from Allie and Chris.
Jim Sutton another former Minor and the amazing Phil Beer also appear on the album which is being produced by Mick Dolan who has sprinkled his ‘magic dust’ on John’s recordings since 1987 while also working with Mick Jagger, Bono, Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, and Show of Hands.
